As part of our search for the best university in the world, we visited Nottingham
The local university is one of the best in the UK and is part of the prestigious Russell Group. The University Park campus is beautifully situated and offers many attractions, including gardens and lakes.
We started early in the morning. We arrived at the campus and immediately went to one of the set-up tents.
We received a campus map and then joined a group that was touring the area with a guide.
Next, we went to the first lecture
You can find out whether the lecture was interesting by watching the video below - I recorded the entire lecture.
Then we went to explore the laboratories.
Zosia miała okazję zobaczyć większą wersję stonogi.
Our next stop - the bus stop. We wanted to see where we could live on campus, and whoever we asked advised us to take the bus.
We reached a place called in just a few minutes by bus:
Here we found out where we need to go to look at student accommodation. The following video is a bit chaotic because we were in a hurry for the next lecture and shows how students live.
Then we walked back to campus and it turned out to be even quicker than by bus ;)
The next lecture was about how the exact and technical sciences influence the world.
Next, we went to a lecture about worms living in a state of microgravity. It was a really interesting lecture. You can see it below, as I recorded it in full.
After leaving the lecture, we stumbled upon a planetarium where a show was just about to start. Ancia and Zosia went inside and watched the stars.
Zosia had a camera with her, but it couldn't handle the focus, the whole film looks like this, so it's not even worth posting it here
Later, we also attended a lecture on Natural Science
Zosia had several conversations
and at the very end we went for ice cream
