Tropical Islands is a huge amusement park located in Germany, near Berlin. It is situated in the largest free-standing dome in the world, which was originally a hangar for airships. It opened in 2004 and has since attracted thousands of tourists.
We visited the place when we were returning from our shopping trip to England.
At Tropical Islands, you can find many attractions, such as a tropical forest with real plants, huge pools, artificial beaches, water slides, saunas, and wellness areas. The park also features many restaurants and bars, as well as tropical-themed accommodation.
One of the main attractions is the "Southern Sea" – a huge pool with a sandy beach, which has a constant water temperature of 28°C. For adventure lovers, there are four water slides available, including one inflatable slide.
