The Viking Stable in Złoty Potok is a unique place that was established in 1997. It is the first stable in Poland where Icelandic horses are bred. These hardy and gentle animals are known for their temperament and ease of learning.

The stable offers a wide range of attractions, such as horse riding lessons, carriage rides, sleigh rides in winter, and various team-building events. It is located on the edge of the Historic Park in Złoty Potok, on Maple Avenue, near the Raczyński Palace. It is also an important point on the Transjurassic Horse Trail, which is 204 km long and runs through the entire area of the Kraków-Częstochowa Jura.

The stable, located in the Jura area, used to be the starting point for many of our quad biking expeditions. It was from here that we set off on all our adventures, during which we explored many interesting places in the area.

In the area, there is the Siedlecka Desert

There are also many other attractions nearby, such as Okiennik Wielki, also known as Okiennik Skarżycki. It is one of the most characteristic rock formations in the Jura. It is located on the border of the villages of Piaseczno and Skarżyce, in the Kroczyce commune. Its name comes from a huge opening with a diameter of about 5 metres, which resembles a window.

During my last stay there, I recorded the following interview with the owner, Mr Leszek Pilarski
