Palma de Mallorca is the vibrant capital and largest city of Mallorca, the largest island in the Balearic archipelago in Spain. It is a place where history, culture, and modernity intertwine in a harmonious whole, creating a fascinating travel destination.
During our stay in Palma de Mallorca, we had the opportunity to explore this beautiful city, full of history and culture. We wandered through the narrow streets of the old town, admiring the majestic buildings, such as the Cathedral of La Seu.
La Seu Cathedral: The Gothic cathedral is one of the most recognisable landmarks in Palma. Its construction began in 1229 and lasted nearly 400 years. The interior of the cathedral is as impressive as its façade, and an additional advantage is the view of Palma Bay from its terrace.
The highlight of our day was a short boat trip around the harbour. Sailing on the waters of Palma Bay, we were able to admire the city skyline from a completely different perspective. The view of the marina filled with luxury yachts and the historic buildings in the background was absolutely stunning.
