The Museum of Corruption in Ukraine, also known as Mezhyhirya, is a fascinating site located in the village of Novi Petrivtsi, near Kyiv. It is the former residence of President Viktor Yanukovych, who was overthrown following the 2014 Maidan protests.
The residence, known as Honka, is an impressive 140-acre complex that includes luxury buildings, parks, a mini zoo, golf courses and many other attractions. After Yanukovych fled to Russia, the residence was transformed into a museum to show the extent of corruption and luxury in which the former president lived.
Visitors can see, among other things, the main living room of the residence, Yanukovych's bedroom, as well as his retro car collection and private sports and entertainment complex. The Corruption Museum is a symbol of the fight against corruption in Ukraine and a reminder of the need for transparency in public life.
This place is not only a tourist attraction, but also an important educational element to make the public aware of the effects of corruption and the need to fight it.
